Nice sound and design and shows me how bulk my DX320 MAX Ti is.

@Trance_Gott Looking very much forward to your impressions with this device. It's on my short list together with the iBasso DX260, FiiO M15S, and Hiby R8 II... as the "ending up as a poor man" option of these 4 DAPs . OK, I guess the R8 II is a bit too much for the HPs I own , so the other three are plenty. Momentarily I'd prefer the iBasso from what I read, but the M23 seems too interesting to just jump the gun on the iBasso right now.

Я вам так скажу. Если вы являетесь счастливым обладателем M11plus или M11S , то нет никакого смысла менять его на M23. Преимущество M23 в том, что он может работать как стационарное решение не в ущерб аккумулятору. И всё.

На слух разница не слышна.
У меня была возможность сравнить напрямую hiby r6 gen 3 & M23. Hiby оказался с большим напором и атакой. В нём больше агрессии. Это звучит очень приятно на экстремальных жанрах. Но M23 тоже хорошо себя показывает с тяжёлыми жанрами. Это хорошее устройство. При слепом прослушивании я бы выбрал hiby r6 gen 3.

Thanks a lot. Do you feel m23 has akm warmer timbre? Have you heard any other m11 dap to compare. But i see hibby not worse sounding

Совершенно верно, R6 Gen 3 работает не хуже.
У меня был M11plus год назад. По памяти, могу сказать, что вряд-ли я бы смог их отличить.

The M15s edges the iBasso dx260 for me - will be interested to see how the M23 measures up in that kind of company!

Still really undecided on this DAP and wish the reviews would hurry up, I have it on pre-order but I’m ready to pull the plug for a used dx300

Seems that the M23 is a very strong contender in the midrange class below 1K.
