You speak about volume not loud enough?? I can destroy my ears even with the 2nd step of power

They play very loud but there is body and bass missing. Even IFI Zen Dac v2 has more body and bass with Sundaras ans Aryas.
Strange because the m15s is way superior to the Zen Dac when iems are used.

Discussing with a He1000SE owner, he sold his Burson Soloist 3X because it did not sound better on it, he uses DAP most of time now (since he has the SE). But the SE is 96db. Four times less power than 90db. On my side I dont find anything wrong about basses with the M15s. Very punchy and dynamic.

I'm connecting my M15S (Android Mode) to my K7 via USB.

Using FiiO Music - it detects the K7 as a USB device. (No issues, volume control disabled in M15S and all controlled in K7.)

However, when using either Tidal or Spotify, the M15S does not detect the K7 as a USB device. I had to adjust volume in both M15S and K7 - which is a let down. Even my cheaper DAPs detect the K7 as a USB device. Suggest that you guys look into this please.

Listening the m15s with All to DSD enabled since yesterday and i dont experience any overheating, the temperatures seem to be the same as on the stock setting. Battery life seems to be shorter max 40-50 min so not a dealbraker for me.
All to DSD sounds even better to my ears. Is more precise, more vividly separated, more organic and punchy. Also the soundstage seems bit wider. The sound is more palpable and real also.

Hi All, I am new here and my first post is a question to this DAP. I have it for three days and I think the M15s is a fantastic piece of HIFi.
Is it possible to show the cover art of an album playing via DLNA, in my case from JRiver running on my notebook. There is only the default background for all albums. Maybe someone can give me an answer if I have overseen something.

Same for me. I connect the M15s to the ifi micro idsd bl via USB and get this window when using the fiio app. The output is fixed and the volume is controlled on the ifi DAC, so all OK.
This window does not appear with Qobuz, Radio Paradise and Radio player App and I have to set the volume to 120 on the M15s and then regulate it on the ifi DAC. Maybe it's an Android problem or a Fiio problem because my M17 has the same problem.

Glad someone else was able to replicate the issue

IMO, @FiiO should work on this as:

1. If we set the volume at 120 and 'forgot'to turn the volume down afterwards (and you're using Volume Pot) - then the next IEM that you plug in is toast
2. Even my cheaper DAP (A306) detects the K7 as a USB device when using Tidal/Spotify - so why can't the M15S do this as well?

I use the Apple music app and it is playing back at loss less... have you looked at the settings in the Music app ??

Hello all!

I'm using Apple Music on my Fiio M15s but the DAP is downsampling to 48kHz every track that is above that spec. Even using Roon Arc with DSD file, the M15s is downsampling to 48kHz. Anyone has the same problem? I'm using the last firmware (1.03 i guess).

@FiiO Any suggestions to fix this behavior?
