Dear friend,@FiiO . When will you ship to authorized retailers @ India? I pre-ordered M11 Plus almost month ago and was told that I could expect delivery around first week of July. Now dealer seem kinda clueless because FiiO has not apparently shipped to India authorized retailer. When is your next shipment due to arrive @ India authorized dealers?
1 month+ seems a long time to wait.

Dear friend,I love @FiiO hardware, but it looks like the'yre only honest and transparent when everything goes right, or they want people's opinion about new DAP boxes. Me and few people asked them to tell more about shipment, because it's now more than month from the release, and still a lot of people and sellers have no idea what is going on with M11+ delivery, and what is doing FiiO? responding about general or technical questions. Polish distributor told that the delay is caused by the QA issues during production, but I didn't see anywhere FiiO to admit it and tell more about the delays. I really can wait, but when a lot of money is frozen for more than a month, without any knowledge when or if I ever get the hardware (other news from distributor was that they will receive only 10% ordered DAPs, so it is possible I will never get it and already lost a chance to buy it directly from FiiO month ago - just because FiiO asked to order DAP from local sellers) it's just bad.

Dear friend,@FiiO
I'd like to put in another ask for a global systemwide custom parametric EQ. I can't stress how beneficial this would be if you can pull it off - maybe via the FPGA through the Android API? I'm still shocked this is such a rare feature found in DAPs (only Sony's Android devices give some systemwide eq control to the users) - devices focused on high performance headphone listening really should give this (not just within one app).. if you can pull it off you'll crush the competition, your devices will fly like hotcakes off the shelves and you'll have me as a loyal permanent customer... as it stands I'm always considering Sony's DAPs first because of their EQ
@FiiO I'm an Android software developer - i'd be happy to do the UI and app for the global EQ for free for you (but wouldn't say no if you throw in one of your future DAPs for testing purposes): if you just provide me with an API where to send the PEQ settings I will do everything else - I can do something along the lines of UAPP Toneboosters eq inline with your UX requirements, production ready... you just need to do the low level FPGA eq code

How and who do I contact? There’s not currently an Amazon listing for there to be a seller on. Only US dealer I see is Apos from the news page, who has it sold out on their own site and I’m not so sure if they ever sell on Amazon.Dear friend,
You could try to contact the seller about that via Amazon. We have arranged sending some M11 Plus LTD to the seller in USA.
Best regards
Basically a connection to any USB 3 port should do the trick. I think I've got mine connected to a USB 2 port on a USB splitter and it's totally fine. Just install the driver flick the mode to USB mode and you're all good to go. Currently listening this way while WFH. Roon on PC -> FiiO M11 Plus -> Focal Stellia 4.4mm. Wonderful. It has to be connected to your PC properly. Your USB port has to be good. The screen on your Fiio should say "connected". Then you should be able to install the driver in your PC and everything should be fine.
Hey, just curious, have you done much listening to just the M11 Plus direct to the Focal Stellia? That’s how I’ll be using it once I get mine, and was wondering how it sounded.Basically a connection to any USB 3 port should do the trick. My thoughts exactly. This is the most neutral sounding device i have ever listened to. What I get in return is a lot of detail around instruments. I can almost touch stuff. That 3D feeling.Just received the M11 Plus today, currently going through burn in.
* Does seem to offer more of what the M11 Pro did - sounds a bit wider and the mids are a little less ethereal and more direct/lifelike - there's improvements here, I will just need to listen more to articulate better. First impression in general is: incredibly clean, grain free uber neutral reference sound; it's the german engineered car equivalent - there's no space for romance or art, it injects the raw files directly into my ears..
* Sounds close to my Apogee Element - i.e. reference but it also adds a little echo/smoothness in the mids and a touch more lower treble forwardness. The Element sounds a touch less processed and little better defined, and has more inner warmth to the sound giving a little more natural tone.
* It is a touch treble bright/forward - i'll leave it to burn in should help.. i think the M11 Pro was the same out of the box (it settled a bit after burn in, but not massively)
* When in USB dac mode it does have a lag similar to the Pro - i.e. it can't really be used for gaming or music production which is a real shame as I though this was resolved. This lag really needs to be in the 3-10ms range for this to be usable - i'm guessing only xmos chips can do this? although I think chord dacs only use FPGAs and they don't have this lag.
* Screen is better than the Pro - better viewing angles and seems better defined/sharper. I can see one small white burn spot, I hope it'll go away...
* Touch volume seems like a UX anitpattern - as I'm holding the DAP i accidentally slide on the volume constantly with my finger, so I turned off the touch aspect of it.
* Nice to have a more recent OS and larger screen - should be good for some newer apps/games on it.
Anyway, my main hope now is for it to settle down a little on that forwardness/brightness. Hmm ibasso dx300....
Agree with all of this 100%. Just got mine a couple of hours ago and it is an incredibly neutral and analytical device. Not as warm-sounding as my M15, but perhaps better separation of instruments. In just some initial testing, I’m finding I enjoy the M11 Plus Ltd. with my IEMs (Andromedas) but prefer the M15 for my Over-ears (Focal Stellia). My thoughts exactly. treble is a bit forward indeed. At first I thought it was very sharp. But it’s actually very grain free and non fatiguing.
I notice that I listen at lower volumes and still get the detail I’m after.
does it rock hard? Not really. The btr5 is actually the more energetic listen. But lacks the detail, texture and 3D like feeling.

My over ears are HD650 and HD800 - I've decided that for both of those I need a dedicated amp, there simply is no DAP out there that can drive them with what they truly shine with - high output impedance, class A/tubes and unreserved voltage swing... Stellia on the other hand doesn't have those needs so I can see how the M15 can be a nice fit. My DAP is relegated to strictly IEM duty nowadays. An excellent fit for the M11 Plus is the slightly bass bloated and treble rolled off JVCFDX1 (with filters), those IEMs turn into warmish neutral dynamic beasts, and just sound absolutely massive. On my ZX507 they sound bass lumpy and mid forward shouty.. the Fiio is their ideal fit.Agree with all of this 100%. Well put. I’m finding with both the M11 Plus and the M15, using the UAPP player and its parametric EQ helps give a little bit of that “character” back without compromising the sound quality, even though I’d prefer not to EQ.My over ears are HD650 and HD800 - I've decided that for both of those I need a dedicated amp, there simply is no DAP out there that can drive them with what they truly shine with - high output impedance, class A/tubes and unreserved voltage swing... I think from what I've read and heard the Fiio M11 Pro/Plus have top quality components slapped together resulting in a very technical sound but lacking a little soul - this is where the sum of the parts don't necessarily exceed the whole.. for example with Sony DAPs Sony spends huge amount of time tuning them and adjusting their DSP algos to get the Sony sound - a little organic, groovy but still with mid forward bite, typically resulting in players with more than their sum of their parts (if that sig is favoured).
Still I have admiration for the route Fiio has taken - direct truth injectors, no time for romantic DSP algos or that kind of crap.. still not sure if it's my thing (i'm a vinyl head at heart, so I like some romance and R2R )
