Hello all, I am looking at converting my headphone front end (pi2aes, Pontus II) to an Aurender A15 or A20. I have a trial of both units setup next weekend but would appreciate feedback and thoughts from those with experience with the Aurender units. General thoughts on functionality and listening is appreciated.

I am primarily streaming and will use the Aurender to feed my external headphone amps. Currently a Roon user but have trialed the Aurender App and it will suit my needs fine as well.

If you don't need the server function (i.e., store your music on SSDs inside the unit), you will get better performance from a simple mid-4 figure bridge. Pi2aes is not all that good TBH.
