After having some fun with the various movie quotes on the SNL thread I thought it would be fun to make a list of some favorite movie quotes.

It's hard to limit myself because there are SOOOO many great ones but I'll get it going with a handful:

"Who are these people? These faces...Where do they come from? They look like caricatures of used car dealers from Dallas. And, sweet Jesus, there are a hell of a lot of them at four-thirty on a Monday morning. Still humping the American dream, that vision of the big winner somehow emerging from the last minute predawn chaos of a stale Vegas casino." - Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas

"Every minute you don't tell us why you are here, I cut off a finger."
"Mine or yours"? - Spies Like Us

"How do you know the Underhill's?"
"I saved his life during the war."
"You were in the war?"
"No, he was I got him out." - Fletch

... more to come as I remember them

Bond: Do you expect me to talk?
Goldfinger: No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!
(Goldfinger)

Indiana: "Sallah! I said no camels! That's five camels!
(Indy and the Last Crusade)

Otto: Don't call me stupid.
Wanda: Oh, right, to call you stupid would be an insult to stupid people!
(A Fish Called Wanda)

Sundance: Think you used enough dynamite, there, Butch?
(Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid)

Hmmm...too many great movies with so many quotes. I can't really think of a lot right now but one of my all-time favorites is...

Rocco: "Is it DEAD!?!?!" - (Boondock Saints)

Hahaha!!! I love that part!

I'll try and think of some more in a bit.

I love the dialogue in "Aliens". A couple of my favorite lines in the movie are:

Apone: Any Questions
Hudson:Yeah, how do I get out of this chicken$4it outfit?

The other is the exchange between Vasquez and Hudson where Hudson said something like this:
She thought they said illegal aliens and she signed up.

agreed - classic movie!
"they mostly come at night...mostly"

a few more -
"I've seen those fingerpaintings you bring home and they SUCK!" - Happy Gilmore

"I'm real sorry your mom blew up Ricky" - Better Off Dead

"Oh, yes, and one more thing, dear Lord, about our enemies, ignore their heathen prayers and help us blow those little bastards straight to hell. Amen." - We Were Soldiers

I had a partner for six years. She was bright and we were very grown-up. 'Turns out it didn't suit me, so I went back to being infantile. Fortunately, that involves much more enjoyment of my stereo.

But it involves much less watching Chick-flicks. I'm not big into the medium, but I must now confess that it has its moments.

"I will not be defeated by a Bad-Man and an American stick-insect.
- Instead, I choose vodka and Chaka Kahn." - Bridget Jones' Diary

These were a couple of my favorites over the years:

"That's a hundred thousand dollars on a damn golf swing!" "What the hell else are we going to do......." - Thomas Crown Affair (remake with Pierce B.)

"I'll be needing that firearm Sir." "You mean this FireArm." - The Rock

"Never feel sorry for man who owns a plane." - The Edge

Two quotes that come to mind - not brilliant, but perfect for the moment in the movie:

Misery: "Eat this you sick twisted f_ck"

The Shining: "Here's Johnny"
