It's a hefty sized download, and I just started it. I'm getting a decent speed on the Xfire download. Who knows if my computer will run it well, but it should be fine at 800x600.

I just thought I'd give all of you guys the heads up. I played it with a bunch of friends once withe multiplayer demo, and it was alot of fun, but the one map got kind of dry.

I got it from Filefront, and yeah, the 1800 mb download is killer. At ~100 kb/s (it fluctuated) it took a little more then 6 hours. Its worth it though, excellent game.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't really play games anymore, especially the new batch: my system simply can't hang with the new graphics. But I will see how it goes. Hey, nothing beats free games, right?

Looks pretty, but its a mindless shooter in fairly tight spaces with lots of grenade & melee spammers. Got old quick, Wolf:ET was a better freebie IMO.

So I just got home from a freinds house and some laser tag, to see that the download speed went from 120 kb/s to 20 kb/s?!?!?!?!?! That annoys me... Hopefully if I leave it on overnight it will be fine.

Thanks for the impressions, I was looking it over and was wondering myself if it would be all that interesting. I agree completely, Wolf:ET was (and maybe still is) my favorite multiplayer FPS released thus far. Great fun.

I restarted the router, and now it's back up to speed. That was weird before. Anyways, yes, it pretty much was a random shooter when I played, but I'm not complaining. It's free!! I found it fun, although as I mentioned, one map got very boring, and they all played terribly. My best score was something over 40 kills and 9 deaths.

I just didn't like the DM play but the control point one was extremely fun.

But I still prefer WarRock and Americas Army over Fear.
