I have the original Euforia and paired with ZMF Atrium is simply sublime. One of my all time top pairings. Extremely black background, highly transparent and very clean sound. I've got my eye on the new Euforia with the balanced output, does anyone know the differences (beyond balanced output)?

It shares some internals with the 20th Anniversary Edition, effectively being somewhere in the middle of Euforia and Euforia AE

EVO has all of the advantages that the 20th Anniversary Edition had over the OG plus a more premium finish (in my opinion), balanced XLR output, and a lower (starting) price.

What do you mean with starting price?

Are there options, like Premium wiring etc?
Or is this an introductory price and will increase after a short period?

I was referring to EVO having a $100 lower price than the starting price of the Anniversary Edition (because it's being discounted while discontinued now).

Starting price must mean the MRRP you start at before asking for a discount.

I've also got the OG Euforia and Atrium and it's insane. The Atrium doesn't sound anywhere near as good without it (on my SS)

Just FYI the XLR is not a balanced output. It's just a convenience plug, but it's unbalanced according to Feliks. The amp looks amazing and I would love to have one!!!

Any ZMF VC owners able to opine on the pairing with the Euforia AE or this new EVO?

I have both VC and Atrium paired with Euforia. For VC it's still my amp of choice (vs Bakoon 13r and iFi). The mid range is magical, a little more forward, smooth, very well rounded with amazing low end. Sound stage is wide, as well with guitar being spread to the far reaches of the room. Singer song writer stuff is just spectacular with this pairing.

I wonder if anyone can share more experience or comments about the Euforia EVO.
I'm really excited about it, and am debating with myself whether to get this or other tube amplifier in the same price range (Cayin HA-6A, used PrimaLuna EVO 200, McIntosh MHA200....etc).
I only have a Focal Clear in my headphone collection.....I hope that they will match well before I start to expand my headphone collections.

What is the heat output of the Euforia like? Does it warm the air around it significantly? My last tube amp cooked my office so I switched to ss but I'm getting the urge to leap back in.
