Hi!
I have chance to buy a used pair of ESI Near05 speakers at less than their retail price of about 200 € (260 $). I would use them for movies and some background music when I'm too restless to be wired to my headphones.
My source for them would be an Emu 0404 soundcard.
So, what do you think? Are the Near05s good value? Are there better options in the same price class, for my intended purpose?
