I set my volume in the itunes library, when you click "Get Info" then "options." There's a little volume thing with default set at zero and it can go minus 100% or plus 100%. Well, after testing it, even though I set certain songs to be say, plus 30%, b/c they're quiet, it reverted to the normal unaltered volume? What is the fix for this.
Second, does playing music off the EQu player lower the distortion threshold for loudness, b/c louder songs are sometimes "in the red" even though i'm playing them at the same volume as I normally do? Or is there always distortion on those levels and I just don't notice?
EDIT: If it's in the red, or hitting distortion, I just need to turn it down to change that right? Even if it's the same and still in the red that's not taking into account that I turned it down right?
