I have a pair of these speakers, they are Black and Have a sealed Cabinet. They Have a "1.5" cone tweeter with a Phenolic ring surround and a "6.5" woofer with foam surround which is still soft.
they say EPI Model 70 on the Baffle

I know the parts for EPI speakers are still availible.
They seem to go low for thier size and they seem to perform thier best when placed on stands instead of a shelf or cabinet.
In a cabinet or surrounded by books they sound boxy and constrained but, out in the open they sound great..
