New guy here, I have been stalking head-fi forums for years now, I suppose now it was time to come out of the shadows J
I am looking forward to buying headphones, here is a quick run-through of things I have in mind:
Type: Closed headphones + Over the ear
Genre: Progressive Rock, progressive metal, metalcore, black metal, soft rock, alternative, art-pop, Jazz, little bit of nuage pop-ish stuff aswell. (few bands I like: Deafheaven, MØL, Deftones, Opeth, Northlane, Architects, Vildhjarta, The Pineapple theif, Nine Inch Nails, God Is an Astronaut, Devin Townsend, Eloy, Lunatic Soul, Pomegranate Tiger, Floyd)
//I appreciate when I can cleanly discern different instrument sounds which are heavily layered on each other
Usage: Rarely at the workplace, walking around the block ( basically I don’t wanna piss off people whilst listening to metal. So yeah Closed cans)
Driver: Laptop / Android (Nokia 8.1)
I shortlisted a few options, but I am all ears for new options :
