Anybody try these tubes out? I just got a pair of Ei EL84EG tubes from www.tube-shop.com and so far I prefer them over the steel pin versions available at Triode. Originally I was using the JJ/Tesla EL84s in my MG Head OTL with great results (especially the bass), but these new Ei tubes seem to be pretty even-handed across the spectrum. I like what I hear so far.
I'll post more as these tubes burn over the next week or so.

Yes, I have to say, that I am extremely pleased with them. I have them in both my Jolida JD102B (speaker amp) and Radii HAP-02 (MG Head -like tube complement). "...even-handed across the spectrum..." -- well said.
