In the quiet corners of September, as the world starts to paint itself in warm hues, a special day approaches – the International Day of Charity, on the 5th of September.
Previously in July, we celebrated the month of friendship with a series of lucky draws, as well as a final grand prize, to show our gratitude for the impact that the audiophile community have had on us. We have since received an overwhelmingly positive response for the campaign, and many were requesting a possible extension.
Hence, this September, as we stand on the cusp of the International Day of Charity, we wish to go a step beyond, to not only give back to those who have continued to support us, but also to those who are in need of support. We hope to embark on a journey of heart and harmony with you, our cherished audiophile community, as we work together to create something better.
In honor of this remarkable day, we introduce the "Give for Good Lucky Draw". During this campaign, not only will you stand a chance to receive your products completely free, but a portion of the fees from your purchase will be donated to the less fortunate. We hope for this lucky draw to not only be a chance for you to win our exceptional products, but a chance for us to share our love for sound and music in a more meaningful and impactful way.
Introducing the Give for Good Lucky Draw
Here's how it works:
Lucky Draw Entry:
For every purchase made between 5th September and 4th October 2023, you will receive:
- One entry into the Giving Back Lucky Draw
- For every 500 - 1199 USD spent, you will receive one additional chance
- For every 1200 - 1999 USD spent, you will receive two additional chances
- For every 2000 USD and above, you will receive three additional chances
How are we giving back?
For every purchase made by you, we will be donating 10% of that to two different charitable organizations that we will be working with.
Where does the donation go?
Effect Audio will be humbly donating the 10% sales amount to two remarkable organizations: Habitat for Humanity Singapore and Ling Kwang Home for Senior Citizens (LKHSC).
Habitat for Humanity Singapore is a dedicated housing charity that tirelessly works towards enhancing the living conditions of vulnerable families and individuals facing poverty. These individuals who face poverty often confront harsh realities; These include poor health and constant aches from the bad posture they adopt. This can be attributed to a lack of ability to afford supportive infrastructure for their daily activities. This eventually results in medical situations such as scoliosis or backaches as they grow. Hence, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Singapore, Effect Audio intends to make a difference by sponsoring brand-new beds and furniture to create comfortable, conducive homes for those less fortunate.
Ling Kwang Home for Senior Citizens (LKHSC) strives to create a sanctuary where elderly residents can enjoy their golden years in a comfortable and nurturing environment, which they can call their "Home Away from Home." Donations to LKHSC help them defray the costs associated with assisting their residents financially, providing essential services and programs, and maintaining their facilities. Furthermore, loneliness is also a leading epidemic among the elderly in Singapore. With the impacts of loneliness having the same mortality rate for smoking and cardiovascular diseases, it is a cause for concern indeed. Hence, in addition to monetary contributions, Effect Audio intends to foster meaningful connections with the elderly residents by personally visiting the home and spending quality time with them.
