EF2 and low impedance headphones

I'm getting an old pair of mint Pioneer SE-2P headphones, that are "matching impedance" of 4-16 ohms.

How can I use them on my EF2?

EF2 will work fine with such low impedence.

Oh good that's great news. I was going by the site that said the EF2 was 30-300 ohms..

Having problems driving them..

Bass is VERY minimal, and when I crank up iTunes EQ on bass, it distorts badly...
