Hi!
I just bought the Cinesound B3 soundbar from Edifier, it has more than a decent sound at least for my ears
and a surprising good sub.
This soundbar has a standby feature, it turns itself off after 10mins of inactivity.
I have two questions about that feature.
1) If I connect the soundbar to my PC through optical, the bar will turn off if no signal pass through after 10minutes, but it will not turn on if a song starts... the only way is to turn on the bar from the remote control or the physical button
2) If I connect the soundbar with RCA the it will be always on! Is it normal to stay always on through analog? if so, can I tell windows to stop broadcasting analog after 10mins?
I suspect its the noise from analog that keeps the bar on?
Also is it ok to let always on the soundbar? or I will reduce the life of the amp?
Thanks a lot!
