oh god, anybody buy e4c from ecost.com at their 172$ price?
it seems like a scam to me, but the price is incredibly tempting
it's obviously a scam if u google it and find the deal in seconds right?

ecost.com reviews are horrible, it's an online site, and there's a time limit to the deal. it's obviously a scam, but dam is the price tempting.

anybody please tell me how the phones were if u bought it from here. PLEASE~!

I don't like ecost.com, but I have ordered from them a number of times, holding my nose while I do so. They are not scammers. They do deliver exactly what you order, brand new, in a reasonable time frame.

However ecost's tactics, such as the utterly stupid "countdown" are obnoxious. (When a countdown expires, another one usually appears with the exact same item all over again.) My biggest gripe with ecost, though, is the "handling" fees that are added to most orders, which you won't see until you're midway through the ordering process. ecost is never my first choice for online purchases, but their prices are so good on some items that I have succumbed, and don't regret it.

Note that ecost's current deal on the E4c does not incur any handling fee, so the price you see is the price you pay, plus only $1.99 for ground shipping.

I second what Bostonears said. Their handling fees often make their posted prices misleading, but from time to time I have shopped there anyway and have always received the merchandise as promised, etc., etc.

They are not a scammers, but their service is sometimes iffy. I would not hesitate to buy from them if the price is a lot better than others.
