I was listening to the radio today and a lady mentioned that when you visit Maine, lobsters are part of the culture and that's what just about every tourist expects to eat. I must say that I agree with her. So if you get a chance to visit Maine, eat lobsters.

There is a deli called "Mainely Sandwiches" in the Greater Houston area and they have Lobster Rolls, which is a submarine bread roll with chopped lobster in it. They have Moxie Soda as well, though only the diet is almost always left *ugh*. Oh yeah, they have whoopie pies, too. The site is here:
