Is it a matter of swapping for a cable with a mic, and plugging that into the Apple lightning to jack dongle connected to an iPhone 13 Mini?

Can you make a recommendation for the cable (I'm in NL, EU), preferably with a button for interaction and volume buttons?

I get IEM cables with a boom mic on AliExpress, but you need a sound jack that supports mic combo plugs. The Apple adapter I have just is stereo, not recording. A Soundblaster X1 does a great job and very compact with Apple compatibility for $50. If you search AliExpress for earphone boom mic cable you'll see them for all the connector types. If you have a mic port, a very inexpensive lapel mic will be fine and clips on. I get those for $4 on AliExpress.

Ah, that's a shame, but I thought so. I was already looking into the Qudelix 5k, so I'm hoping that does the same as the X1. I did look into the X1, but didn't see a mention of a mic in.

I'm looking for something a little more stealth as this would be for outside use, so no boom mic. Do you have any experience with a cable that looks like the headset you got with a phone before bluetooth took over for the ER4XR connection?
