Are there any kind good of earplugs out there that don't amplify all the noises within your body?  The ones in the store work great for blocking noise but then my breathing sounds like title waves which is just as bad.

If there are earphones even better, or just regular ear plugs, or whatever.  I just want to block the sounds in the next room so I can concentrate on my tasks.  Actually yeah, high quality IEM's that could do this even block sound with no music playing would be perfect, because I frequently am having music on and off.

Great question.  I've never found an IEM solution to the 2001 like "breathing in the helmet" sound.  I think you'd have to have a material that would completely absorb the ear canal breathing sounds rather than reflecting them back to the ear drum.  Standard over the ear headphones don't have this issue; e.g., my Bose QC2s.
