Hello headphone enthusiasts! Just got my hands on the Ananda v3, and the sound quality is incredible! I'm really enjoying the upgrade from my previous dt770s.

However, here's the interesting part – when I use these headphones, my left ear starts to itch or tickle unexpectedly. I've double-checked the pads, and everything seems fine. These headphones are fresh out of the box, so I'm curious if anyone else who owns the Ananda v3 has encountered a similar sensation.

The sound is impressive, and I'm immersing myself in the music despite this peculiar experience. Any Ananda v3 users out there with insights or thoughts?

I'm assuming you're just getting hot ear from the earpads. Better breathing earpads (velour, vented) might help, but will likely change the sound signature to less bass. Avoid touching your ears with the pads. Also, could be some sort of allergy to whatever its made from I suppose.

It could be that you are simply a victim of time, how it makes fools of us all.... and you're starting to grow small hairs in your ears.

Small hairs of various sizes or thickness will each have their own resonant frequency, and are entirely capable of resonating with sound waves, creating a tickling/itching sensation.
You may want to consider investing in a trimmer ^_^

hehe well, i dont think that is the case, at least, not yet. I did have a doctor examine my ears and found nothing wrong. I'm leaning towards allergy
