EAC option for Linux

I expect to switch over from XP to some version of Linux over the weekend. I see that LAME has a Linux version. I don't see any options for EAC. So, what do you use?

Sound Juicer is a good GUI ripper. What distro will you be using?

Still listening to suggestions on that one. Probably Fedora or Ubunta.

cdparanoia (http://www.xiph.org/paranoia/) is probably your best bet under Linux. I've been using Asunder (http://ericlathrop.com/asunder/), which is an interface to cdparanoia, LAME, and FLAC.

Like Michael said, cdparanoia is what you want. I use KAudioCreator as a front-end for ripping and encoding (just because I've personally patched some bugs for entering tags

). Pretty much any ripper under linux will use the same external tools, so it's just a matter of preference for which interface and any extra features.

I use gRip as a frontend to cdparanoia.
