I came across a Siemens E88CC Gold Pin tube, I hade bought three from Germany when I had my Melos. Can I use this in a MG Head?

My guess would be NO!! They may pin out the same, but there is something different in them as absolutely no on on the net has ever listed them as a viable alternative to tuberoll these two type interchangeably!! If you put the wrong tube into your amp it may let all the smoke out of the tube or the amp, and that's very bad!! It could be that the voltages go in and out on different pins when compared to the other series of tubes.
