Just received my E7 today in the post, been breaking it in gently and on the whole very pleased thus far, came with a ton of accessories! However the rate at which the volume increments / decrements is PAINFULLY slow; whereas a logarithmic speed increase would be very useful (and logical for when the button is held down more than a couple of seconds) the volume level just changes at a fixed rate. It makes it painfully slow to change the volume from 20 to 60 for example.
 
Is this fixable via a FW upgrade (although I noted in another post that the FW's NOT upgradeable via USB?

) or can I at least suggest it as an improvement if there's no current solution for this? It's a minor frustration, but one nonetheless. My H340 with Rockbox behaves really intuitively (slow -> faster -> fastest) when I seek through a track or adjust the volume, I suppose I'm used to expecting all things to behave like this for volume change now and it seems stupid when it doesn't.
