E2c for 59.99, is it worth to get?

The short answer? Yes! I would go for it. The MD33, while I do not have expirience with it, was discussed in the thread I created. I decided the Shure E2c would be my best option, and I guessed correctly!

I prefer the md-33's ergonomics. It is easier to fit and definitely has a lower profile, but I prefer the e2 for its sound quality. The md-33 has, imo, a strong midbass hump and boosted treble, whereas the e2 has rolled off treble. Still, I'd take the e2, especially at this price.

buy.com has them for 65, and then you can use a $5 off coupon (google it) to get them for 60. shipped, too, i think.

of course a lot of people are weary of buy.com. both of my orders have been fine though.

Yeah, forget that. Use buy.com. Free shipping, and you can always find a couple 5% off coupons.

To answear the question: The E2C is worth $60 shipped.

A note on the price: $60 shipped on the E2C new is a low price (about as low as it gets currently), but not unparaleled or unprecidented. That is, if you don't get them now for $60 they will be around somplace for less than $65 shipped whenever you do decide you want them.

yup, definitly not an impulse buy, unlike the $40 Etymotic ER-6 Isolator deal at palmone, whereas the regularly availble price for Brand New Etymotic ER-6 Isolators is $90 shipped
