One think I would like to know is: what DAC is used in E-mu 1212m(0202 Analog IO board)???

i discovered something interesting.

If any of you guys have a 1212m, look at your analog i/o board 0202, and see the ADC chip has a wire solded on it.

I found some 1212ms don't have this wire, and some have, like mine.

I checked the pin diagram of the ADC(AK5394A) and it said that 2 pins are pin 16(FSYNC) and pin 19(HPFE). Wonder what the use of connecting these two pins and why some model did this and some didn't.

hm.....one guy told me that his 1212m doesn't have that wire.....

just checked. mine does. i'm surprised i didnt notice it earlier.
