Based on suggestions in a previous thread, I've decided to get an E-MU 0404 and a Headsave Go-Vibe.

I've been reading some threads on the 0404, and it seems that it has 1/4" outputs. I've seen suggestions for connecting this straight to headphones, but what about for a headphone amp? I'm assuming the Go-Vibe has a 1/8" stereo connection. Would using the Monster Cable IP400M minijack to two 1/4" plugs do the trick?

That's the sort of cable you need, just a standard analog one with the right connectors on each end. I can't comment on your specific equipment, I don't have any of it myself. My sources usually have a 3.5mm out and the amps 2*RCA in, but I dunno with the go-vibe - it seems reasonably that it'd have a mini-jack.
