well..i'm getting this amp. for now, it will only work on batteries. it's for a transportable setup.

i was looking at the Plainviews (9.6V), but i'm wondering how much of a difference will they make in a dual 9V amplifier from other (lower voltage) rechargables (8.4V).
also, i can't use their charger, since it can do only one at the time. i heard it's possible to use other chargers, but it might hurt the battery (though i never heard of such case.. but i just wondered). i want a single charging device, that's the point.
other important things are charging time and battery life, which i guess other batteries can excell.

what would you guys recommend for batteries and chargers?
the charger should be small, of coarse.

A really good charger for everything including two 9V slots? Ansmann Energy 8 - pic here: http://www.ansmann.de/de/view.htm?oi...product&id=450

We also used that one in the lab of the computer magazine I've been working for until recently. It's a good product.

Greetings from Munich!
