Does the zen micro have like a 2 second wait to get to the next song?

Not as much as an iPod, I'll put it that way.

When playing continuously, there is a short gap that you can hear between tracks. Maybe 1/10th of a second or so, depends on the Mp3. However you can definetly hear the gap.

Shorter gaps end up being heard as a click rather than actually hearing a gap.

Now, when you manually press next track, it takes about half a second or so to skip tracks, sometimes its a bit sluggish, but it can't be the best audio player in the world now can it

if you click next song then its like a 1/4 second wait, if you select a song off the menu its like a 2 second wait and if you just keep listening till the end of the song and it switches over its such a small gap i dont even consider it one. but appearantly the micro doesnt have gapless. technically this is true but the gap is so small i can barelly tell that there is a gap at all.
