Do you prefer Anthrax with Joey Belladonna or John Bush or Neil Turbin or ... as a lead singer?

More Anthrax lead singers: Dan Nelson, Matt Fallon, John Connelly, ...

Which is your favourite lead singer of Anthrax?
Who among them has had the best voice?

Joey by miles.
This line up was imo the golden period, joey's voice just seemed to fit so well with the whole sound.
I remember when i saw them in nottingham on the euphoria tour and hearing them live was indeed awesome and joey was on top form, head dress and all.
So that's where my vote goes.

Dan Spitz, who was the lead guitarist of Anthrax in the past,
compared Joey Belladonna to Steve Perry (Journey).
I think that this is a huge exaggeration .
Steve Perry belongs to the elite of rock singers,
but Joey Belladonna does not.

Am I missing something here?

Here's Joey Belladonna:

Belladonna is very inconsistent, one moment he's really good, the other moment he's no better than Tom Araya. But I guess the same could be said about Turbin and Bush, Anthrax doesn't have what I would call a good vocalist.

That's what I've thought.

Joey IS the voice of Anthrax; however, John Bush gets his props too. Sound of White Noise was a musical Goliath! The difference is that ALL of the songs that Anthrax is most well known for were with Joey at the helm. Additionally, the John Bush Anthrax did a whole album of tunes originally sung by Joey. Do you need any more proof that Joey is the best vocalist of all they've been through? Hell, even the remaining members of the band know that there is no Anthrax like the Joey Belladonna Anthrax otherwise they'd have never recorded The Greater of Two Evils; which was awesome, but, IMHO, didn't do the tunes any justice! As for the other lead singers, their work with Anthrax was rather forgettable.
