I know that this is going to sound a bit biased since I am the one who currently has a sale for the same ICs but I should point you to the HeadRoom Corporation website. Look in the cables section and you'll pretty much see for yourself that Tyll, Tom Green (formerly of HeadRoom), and others agree the DiMarzio ICs deliver a tremendous bang for your buck value. They sound very clear, clean, open, and a bit warm. Also, go to http://www.ecoustics.com to do a search for any and all professional / customer reviews of DiMarzio ICs. Lastly, try http://www.AudioReview.com and do another search for the same ICs in question.
I've had both the DiMarzio High Resolution ICs custom made for the HeadRoom Cosmic (Reference Module) headphone amplifier and the M-PATH (currently). The M-PATH sounds more refined in every sense of the word. Send me a PM if you want more information. I think that I have a couple of saved urls that review these great ICs for you.
