New Head-Fier
Hi guys,
I have a question regarding the Denon d2000 headphones I bought used recently. They are in excellent condition, barely used, no significant wear anywhere. The cans were not disassembled before and everything is in stock.
Everything is great. However, sometimes, when I stop the sounding track during the next second I hear kind of a fading ringing. Like something was resonating, and once musing stopped, that resonating is fading to stop. It is very fast, just 1 sec. I disassembled both cans and found nothing wrong at all.
When I tap the drivers front grill of the back side of the driver, I hear some resonating noise, similar to what I hear and what I am concerned about.
I recorded two videos here:
I believe that the drivers front side grill is resonating. I tried to press it with the force of my fingers and sounds like it helped a bit.
Do you guys hear about the such an issue with the Denon d2000?
Thank you.
