Hello everyone,

I'm planning on buying a Denon AVR-X2600H to connect to my pc. At the moment I have a budget stereo speaker setup (2x2) that I'm planning on upgrading in the future (few years, I want to get high end speakers). Normally I would connect my pc through SPDIF to the AVR but the SPDIF connection on my PC is broken. I'm thinking of getting the Sound BlasterX G6 to connect my pc through the G6 to the AVR.

Connection would be PC -> USB -> G6 -> SPDIF -> AVR

Will I run into any issues? Keep in mind that I will use it for stereo output.

Thanks!

Lots of low cost sound cards come with optical output jacks, no need to buy the higher costing SB G6.
Asus Xonar DG or DGX sound cards come with optical.
