I bought the Denon AH-C551 as my first more expensive headphones. (Not those $10 headphones they sell at Wal-Mart.) They fit in my ears, but they fall out really easily. If I run, they'll fall out. Are there other tips that I could buy, so it's more comfortable and isolate more. The sponge one's and the one's that are on the Etymotic 6i look nice. So are there any tips?

Which size tips are you using. I can't seem to get the best sound out of the medium tips- the smalls give me the best sound (great bass). Also, they stay is place pretty well, but I have not exercised with them yet. I hear the Comply T400 tips work very well with the 551s.

I just looked those up online and they cost a lot. $15 for 3 pairs of them. I'm using the smallest one. They do give me a fit, but it's sometimes hard to insert and let them stay in place.

So the smalls seem too big? Maybe try some of the Comply T400 tips.

You can get 5 pair of Comply T400s for $20. Agree they are not cheap, but the only real foamie alternative that works. And if smalls fall out, try mediums. You may not be getting a good seal. The Complys also might be too big for you. Or try over the ear insertion.
