  I am wondering if anyone knows if the HD558 and the PC360 have any noticeable differences in sound quality and sound stage.
I am going to be using it for PC gaming (fps) and I would love the great positional accuracy and big sound stage of the PC360 but instead achieving that with the HD558 for only $113.
Also, I would also like to know how the HD558 compares with the foam mod. Can anyone help me on this? It would be a big help.

 
The HD558 and PC360 use the same 50-Ohm drivers.
 
Here is an aftermarket cable ($18-$26) for the HD558 (and HD518/HD598) that comes with a 3.5mm (1/8") plug and you can get is in one of five lengths.
