I use a Naim Unity Core server which is quite old and only has BNC coax output.
Is there any advantage in connecting to something like a Denafrips Iris DDC and then using the I2S output from the Iris to the I2S input on my Audiobyte Vox DAC.

I tried a Gustard DDC and couldn't measure or hear any benefit over USB optical cable going to a hub for convenience. Jitter over coax is the only problem I've had on some budget DACs. If it's not an issue then I think there wouldn't be much benefit.

Jitter is at inaudible levels on every consumer home audio component ever measured.
