DC-Elite/A100TB vs Xduoo xd05 pro

I recently got a FatFreq GM. I am debating between DC-ELITE/A100TB vs Xduoo xd05 pro. I understand xd05 offers more current. But I own a dc elite and love it with my maven ii. But not sure A100tb has enough current to drive the GM to its full.

Which one would you pick please suggest.

I've used a Topping G5 with all kinds of IEMs and demanding planars and it's got 6.5 hours in medium gain and lots of power. 120 SINAD and incredibly quiet noise floor. I use it on the laptop since it weighs 10oz, and Fosi DS2 with the phone for IEMs.

Have not tried DC Elite/A100TB combo b4.

But I own the XD05 Pro and the Grand Maestro. The GM scales and sounds incredibly good with the Pro. Also, the Pro can be upgraded/modded (with more money) to far surpass it's stock capabilities, and I suspect the DCelite/A100TB combo won't even come close.

You can upgrade the Pro's amp to the Sparkos 3602, and also send the Pro to Steve from NPAudio to get it fully modded to take it to the next level.

Actually, what got me to this point is yesterday I tried double amping(connect dce 4.4mm output to cma 18p 4.4mm input) dc elite with my cma 18p. Voila, incredible soundstage, resolution. This is in comparison to cma 18p alone. I see dc elite doing some magic.

So I guess xd05 with the upgrades should sound incredible too. Will see if I can try that.

In my experience, GM scales much more with amps than dacs, so the amp portion is really important!
