I am new to this hobby and have picked up like 4x IEMs in the last two weeks. I like bass-driven music and prefer a darker tonality. I am sick of all this DAC/Dongle stuff for my iPhone 13 Pro, so I may just look for a DAP.
Can you please help guide me?
- I plan to use balanced cables, so 4.4 output would be great
- Apple Music is my catalog of music for streaming, so it needs to be Apple music compatible (lossless!)
- I also have some obscure stuff on FLAC files, WAV, and MP3 so MicroSD card would be nice to be able to load these files into library this way
- I have some harder to drive IEMs -- Final Audio E5000 with 93dB, and plan to add some headphone cans in future, so I want this to be powerful
- Not super pricey -- like $500 would be nice, but slightly more OK.
Where should I look?
