Has anyone tried the Audinate ADP-USB-AU-2X2 Dante USB to Ehternet dongle? Is it 'audiophile' grade? How it might compare to the microrendu type of product? I am trying to have my listening setup away from my computer/server and would also like to see if breaking the usb connection to my DAC (Prism Lyra 2) improves sound quality.

The production community seems to be onboard with it but what do they know

Wondering what you with to obtain with some firmware....
If it is about the dongle https://www.audinate.com/products/devices/dante-avio , this is to connect your laptop or mobile to a ethernet switch over USB. I don't expect this to work with a DAC

There are some new interfaces that have Dante as an option.

Audinate claims the dongle is a way to use legacy equipment as well.

It turns out the Dante USB dongle I was looking at only does 48K - Never mind
