Hey guys and girls, i bought a cambridge audio d500se from a friend at a local audio store for pretty cheap. I broke it in for 3 days and i have it hooked up to a corda ha-1 mkII with outlaw PCA and a HD600. I got some pretty audible static with this combo. To test it further, i hooked the same set up to my sound blaster live! card on the computer and i got zero static.

I read that many of you guys out here swear by dedicated cd-player set ups. Whats going on with mine?

There's probably something wrong with your unit. My D500se is completely silent from the output jacks.
