I got D-555 and I am wonder if anyone try to replace display backlight with funky colour.
The backlight LED are installed on a small PCB behind LCD.
I thinking about removing this small board and replace existing LED with brighter red LED, the LED look like 3mm diameter type - not SMT.
The red LED has similar parameters to amber LED so should work without worry about voltage level.
Blue or green LEDs operate at different voltage level and my personal preference is to use long wave red for backlighting.
You clues and experience would be helpful.
