Looking at MacDEF's amp guide I wondered about the tradeoffs one considers when selecting an amp especially a tube amp. Is crossfeed an important consideration? Listening to a solid state amp crossfeed adds to the enjoyment in my opinion. What other attributes that distinguish one amp from another in the same price range?

You know, you can add a crossfeed box (build it yourself, have someone else build it, or buy a Headroom Static) to any amplifier for crossfeed, it is not only to solid state. The differences between all amps involve in their design and circuitry which is quite complex, but all manage to amplify the signal. It is like the difference between two washing machines or microwaves, same principle, different implementations. Some implementations are better than others and may be more expensive too.
