my cousin wants me to order some stuff for him and he gave me some "coupons" (just letters and numbers in a string). i don't know how to use them. does anybody?

Its just when you order/checkout, theres a box on the bottom that asks for gift certificats, promo codes, etc. Put the numbers there.
