I have installed an in ceiling subwoofer. It's 8 inch subwoofer ICS8-MB by beagle street. I got the monoprice swa-400 but it had a loud continues static sound and I had to return it. I am having a hard time finding any reviews online for any good sub woofer amplifier. All I have seen are product for the car, I don't think they work with sub and if they do work, i have no idea how to DIY it. Anyway would love some suggestions willing to spend up to 400$

Take a look at what REL does. Where I live they're quite popular and liked. Never had one, though.
