New Head-Fier
Hi everyone!
I recently bought a pair of Stax L300s with a SRM-1/MK-2 energiser second hand from a friend in Japan and have been using it with a 100V transformer so far; however, I would like to configure it so that I could power it directly off the 240V supply here in Sri Lanka.
I have looked at VIrak's thread (https://www.head-fi.org/threads/stax-srm-1-mk2-100v-to-240v-conversion-is-this-correct.872626/) and my wiring setup looks very similar to his.
I was concerned that it would be rude to necro that thread, hence this post - if not I would be happy to reply to that post. Given the cost, I am feeling a little paranoid about frying this setup so I would like to double-check before soldering.
So if I were to swap the brown with the blue wires and the green with the purple wires (as recommended in the linked post) would I be able to use this energiser directly with 240 V mains? I have attached a few photos of the panel on my unit - it looks pretty similar to the one posted in the link.
Thanks!
