hi all, i recently landed a pyramid ps3kx psu and i have the cable/plug i need for my v-dac.  however, i'm unsure of an appropriate way to connect the wires to the + & - posts on the pyramid.

should i use bananas?  (and if so, is there a particular banana gauge or shape to use?)  i had assumed i would just tighten the wires to the posts.  but i'm unsure of how to do so.

i'm aware of the polarity on the wires and posts.  but it is not as simple as wrapping the wires to the exterior of the posts and tightening the posts' caps over top the wires.  i had assumed that and tried that, but nothing.

does either/both wires need to be secured inside the interior of the post?

any help would be much appreciated.
