As the title says, I've been thinking about getting a nicer 8 or 16 core replacement cable for my KZ ZS10 Pros. I've poked around and it seems that there I see suggestions that 0.78mm 2 pin, 0.75mm 2 pin and QDC connectors are compatible. But I've also seen posts that 0.78mm 2 pin and QDC can cause problems.

Is my only good choice KZ "Type C" 0.75mm 2 pin? Or do either or both the 0.78mm 2 pin and QDC connectors work well enough?

2 pin will work, BUT you run the risk of breaking the cable (its going to be significantly less secure than a C-pin). I believe a QDC cable will work, it just has to be the correct depth. For instance, some are 0.78mm and others are 0.75mm.

I can link a few that I've used and I know work...
This one is my favorite - https://www.amazon.com/Linsoul-TRIP...=kz+replacement+cable,electronics,105&sr=1-12

This one also works well (although for some reason Linsoul has sent me the wrong size for this on multiple occasions) https://www.amazon.com/Linsoul-Trip...lja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ&th=1

This one is a good middle of the line: https://www.amazon.com/Braiding-Upg...refix=type-c+2+pin+iem,electronics,126&sr=1-5

Like I said, my favorite is that top option, but with the 4.4mm connector (if you can accommodate it).
