Blue Jeans Cable makes some great cables for the money and they're a pleasure to deal with. I use their video cables and have used their audio cables in the past as well. Always been happy with both.
zu cable makes amazing cables. You can check them out at zucable DOT com. Don't buy from there, though. They usually put some of their stuff on ebay that usuallly sells for much cheaper than their website. I have their component cable. I think it's called the "megular"....something like that.
I just ordered 25 foot component cables today for my hi def tv. I had the
hi def receiver installed yesterday, and for some weird reason, my old
component cables won't carry the HD signal, even though they were
previously hooked up to my satelite Dolby Digital receiver. They were 1/2 the
price of Monster Cable from Circuit City! Nice people to deal with, too! http://www.cablesforless.com/index.a...S&Category=728
Marketing is just simply amazing stuff. Component Video Cables are simply the exact same as three (3) high grade 75 ohm impedance pure copper center conductor, pure copper stranded 95% shield RG59U cable.
Just simply get the best Mogami RG59U cables with RCA male terminations and you'll have a beautiful picture.
When a client of mine wants Component rather than HDMI, that's what I recommend. Good luck.
