Just about to buy some Complys for my Denon C-551s. I've found that the large silicone eartips that were bundled with them fit me better than the mediums - so will this also be the case for the Complys, or do the sizes not quite match up like that?

Secondly, is there any noticeable difference in sound quality or deterioration over time between the T-400s and the Tx-400s? An extra £5 for what seems to amount to a little bit of netting doesn't really seem worth it to me unless it truly has a positive effect.

Lastly - how long can I reasonably expect to use one pair of tips for until I need to replace them?

Cheers.

For the duration of the tips.... if you don't wash them or anything and have resonably clean ears you can probably get around... 2.5 weeks of use out of a pair. People clean them though by putting some hydrogen peroxide in a bowl and letting them sit for a while in that; cleans them good from what I've read.

Complys are quite soft and comfortable, so if you find the large silicone tips fit you well, the large complys should be fine.

I have not tried the Tx400, but the T-400s need replacing about every 3-4 weeks with heavy use (that's when they start looking nasty). If you're a hygiene freak, expect to replace every 2 weeks.
