Hi guys,

I’m in a quandary over which ear tips to get for my Sony WF-1000XM3’s.

I currently have some Shure SE425’s and the perfect fit for my ears with these is the Comply P-Series medium tips. The regular tips are pretty good but don’t quite seem long enough to fit properly in my ears and the extended fit of the P’s are perfect.

I have recently bought the Sony WF-1000XM3’s which I love but I don’t get a perfect fit with any of the included tips. None of the black foam ones included hold them in my ears at all. And the spare Comply P-Series I have don’t fit because the core is too narrow. I’m currently using the largest silicon tips that come with them but these seems to work loose from my ears over time and I’m constantly twisting them back into my ears to ensure they don’t fall out.

I’ve read the official thread for these ear buds and lots of tip shave been recommended such as :-
Spinfit cp-100
Spinfit cp360
Comply 200
Comply Isolation 200
If I check the Comply fit page for the WF-1000x (they don’t have the XM3 listed yet), they recommend the Truegrip/Truegrip Pro which look short.

Does anyone know how these compare to the P-Series? Ideally I just want some P-Series for them but they don’t make them (yet)

Cheers!

Like maybe even hard enough that youd probably break the core inside the foam tip. Also there is a guy on ebay who will send you a kit to refoam pseries tips and you could probably do that with the core of a 200 and make it as a pseries (although the pseries cores are long and so that may not work)

Comply makes tips for the WF-1000XM3’s . I tried the universals for the HiFiMan TWS-600 and they fit very good and held them in just fine as well and pretty sure the ones for the Sony’s are pretty much the same ones .

Even if you could get a p-series onto the core of the Sony's, I'm pretty sure they would be too long to fit inside the charging case or get all squished up and deformed.
I'm currently using the Comply Isolation 200 tips which to be fair are pretty good for me. Not p-series good, but much better than any of the stock Sony tips.

yeah, you couldnt fit them in the charging case. If you have any pseries laying around, could you try it for my sake? Im pretty curious
