THe SQ of piano music through the HD25-1, for me, leaves much much to be desired. I just don't feel the subtle dissipating sound that piano music needs. The HD25-1 just seem to me to be too STRONG of a headphone to be relaxing.

Does anyone know how the Yuin PK2 measures up to the HD25-1, and how it preforms in the classical/piano genre in comparison???

much appreciated
thanks!

What source and amplification are you using for them? To obtain full piano sound accuracy you have to forget mp3 and wma files in any lossy bitrate. Maybe the 320kb/s FhG files could do the trick but you'd still hear the imperfection of the compression on these headphones. If not - there is an issue with the other components, not the HD25-1's. I've owned the HD25-1 II's for several weeks and they do the trick for me.
